The Sharks have announced the signing of hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle for the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby season.
Ralepelle represented the Bulls between 2005 and 2013 and won 22 Test caps for South Africa, before joining French club Toulouse in the Top 14 for the past three seasons.
The 29-year-old can resume playing in April after completing a two-year suspension for the use of anabolic steroids.
'I am pleased to have acquired the services of a hooker with the pedigree of Chiliboy Ralepelle. He is a brilliant player with a strong work ethic and will be an asset to our squad,' said Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold.
