The Chiefs have named Sam Cane and Charlie Ngatai as co-captains for the 2018 Super Rugby season.
All Blacks flanker Cane has co-captained the side over the past two seasons alongside current Montpellier flyhalf Aaron Cruden, and is seen as a crucial part of the All Blacks leadership group.
The 26-year-old has notched up 95 caps for the Chiefs, and was part of the sides who won the 2012 and 2013 Super Rugby titles.
Ngatai has previously captained the Maori All Blacks and has earned 43 caps for the Chiefs.
The once-capped All Black centre has confirmed he will join Lyon at the end of the season, after accepting that he will not make the All Blacks 2019 World Cup squad, with several concussions affecting his international career.
