The Chiefs have made two changes for Saturday's match against the Lions in Hamilton.

Maama Vaipulu will start at No 8 in place of Tom Sanders, who shifts to blindside flank. That sees Taleni Seu move to the bench and Johan Bardoul dropping out of the match 23, with his place taken by returning Japan captain Michael Leitch.

In the backline, Latu Vaeno replaces the injured Shaun Stevenson on the right wing, with Glen Fisiiahi taking Vaeno’s spot on the bench.
