Michael Cheika will reportedly keep his job as Wallabies coach, but have his powers seriously curtailed.
The Wallabies finished their 2018 campaign with just four victories from 13 games, for a 31% winning record.
Cheika gave a presentation to the Rugby Australia board on Monday, after which chairman Cameron Clyne said they would ‘go through a fairly thorough review process’ that would be ‘wrapped up ahead of Christmas’.
The Daily Telegraph published a story on Thursday night stating that while Cheika would not lose his job, Scott Johnson would be appointed above him as director of rugby. Johnson currently occupies that role for Scotland.
