Cheetahs tweak lineup for Scarlets clash

Benhard Janse van Rensburg evades a tackle Cheetahs Kings
Published on February 22, 2019 | Leave a response

The return of outside centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg is one of three changes to the Cheetahs’ starting XV for Sunday’s match against the Scarlets in Llanelli.

In the only forced change, Janse van Rensburg comes in at outside centre in the absence of the suspended Nico Lee. Dries Swanepoel, who wore the No 13 jersey last week, shifts to inside centre to accommodate Janse van Rensburg.

In two rotational swaps, Walt Steenkamp and Jasper Wiese switch places, with the former starting and the latter moving to the bench. In the front row, Ox Nche is back at loosehead prop in place of Charles Marais, who drops out of the match 23 altogether.

Marais’ exclusion sees Jacques du Toit come on to the bench.
