Former Bulls centre Dries Swanepoel has signed a two-year contract with the Cheetahs until the end of the 2020 season.
Swanepoel joined Munster from the Bulls in April this year on a short-term loan deal. Although in his three-month stint at the Irish province, he didn’t get much game time.
The 25-year-old was schooled at Grey College alongside Francois Venter and William Small-Smith and played U16 Grant Khomo Week and U18 Craven Week for Free State.
‘Free State Rugby welcomes Swanepoel back home and is looking forward to seeing him in orange. He will be joining the Cheetahs this week for training,’ read a statement.
