.The Free State Cheetahs have selected several Pro14 players for their Currie Cup promotion-relegation match against the SWD Eagles on Tuesday.
Scrumhalf Tian Meyer will captain the side, with Malcolm Jaer at fullback, top Pro14 try-scorer Rabz Maxwane on the left wing and Nico Lee and William Small-Smith in the midfield.
No 8 Junior Pokomela and props Aranos Coetzee and Charles Marais boost the forward pack, while the Cheetahs will have the liberty of calling hooker Joseph Dweba and Springbok loosehead Ox Nche from the bench.
Locks Walt Steenkamp and Sintu Manjezi, as well as utility back Rhyno Smith, will miss the game as they are all attached to other Currie Cup sides.
Meanwhile, the SWD Eagles have made three changes to the starting XV that beat the Valke in the First Division final.
Lock Hannes Janse van Rensburg replaces Wynand Grassmann in the only change to the forwards. In the backline, Marlo Weich shifts from wing to fullback with Leighton Eksteen dropping out in place of wing Adri Jacobs, while Kirsten Heyns comes in at outside centre for Vuyo Mbotho, who drops to the bench.
The match will kick off at 6pm and be broadcast on SuperSport 1.
