TJ Perenara has not been cited for his part in an ugly incident involving Sam Cane during Saturday's semi-final in Wellington.
In the 57th minute, the Chiefs captain tackled the Hurricanes scrumhalf without the ball in an attempted cleanout at a ruck.
On the ground, Perenara lashed out with both boots and connected with Cane's head, before showing immediate concern for Cane's welfare.
Match officials didn't revisit the incident, which wasn't replayed on TV.
With Sanzaar confirming there were no citings from either semi-final, Perenara is free to play in the final against the Lions on Saturday.
