Former Springbok flyhalf Butch James will coach the South African team at this year’s World Rugby Classic in Bermuda.
The tournament will take place from 4-10 November.
‘I’m honoured to have been invited to work with the team, it’s an awesome opportunity for us to get together and play together and remind the world who we are,’ said James.
Former Boks in the squad include prop Lawrence Sephaka, hooker Delarey du Preez, locks Hottie Louw and Marco Wentzel, flank Ryan Kankowski, wing Jongi Nokwe and fullback Conrad Jantjes.
The Classic Springboks will kick off their campaign against Canada on Sunday, 4 November.
