Saracens flank Schalk Burger has received a one-match suspension for foul play.
Burger was cited for dangerously entering a ruck in the 48th minute of Saracens’ Champions Cup match against the Northampton Saints.
He was found in contravention of Law 9.20: Dangerous Play in a ruck or maul.
The former Springbok will miss Saracens’ Anglo-Welsh Cup fixture against the Exeter Chiefs after it was deemed that he was already unavailable for selection this weekend.
He will be free to play from 5 February.
