The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed that Handré Pollard is expected to return to action in two weeks’ time after sustaining a calf strain last week.
Pollard missed the Bulls’ match against the Brumbies this past weekend after picking up the injury during a training session in Canberra, and returned home to start his rehabilitation in Pretoria.
On Monday, the Bulls confirmed that Pollard’s recovery is on track and he will return to the playing squad within the next fortnight.
Meanwhile, Duane Vermeulen is also expected to make a full recovery quite soon after leaving the field with a severe neck stinger against the Brumbies. He travelled with the Bulls to New Zealand and is likely play a role in their two-match tour there.
Flyhalf Marnitz Boshoff has also made his long-awaited return from injury, and played for the Blue Bulls in the Provincial Rugby Challenge this past weekend.
