Utility forward Hanro Liebenberg is likely to miss the Vodacom Bulls’ match against the Crusaders on Friday due to a head injury.
Liebenberg is the only new casualty on the Bulls’ injury list, with team doctor Herman Rossouw confirming that the 23-year-old had failed a second head injury assessment (HIA).
Liebenberg was forced off the field on Saturday after taking a knock to the head against the Waratahs at Loftus, and a call on his availability will only be made later in the week.
According to Rossouw, the team’s other injured players are making good progress.
Centre Burger Odendaal has recovered from his eye injury and is available for selection, while Tim Agaba, Eli Snyman, Dayan van der Westhuizen and Jason Jenkins have all regained full fitness and are back in training.
