Bulls lose Kirsten, Kriel

Blue Bulls flank Jannes Kirsten has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a shoulder injury.

Bulls team doctor Herman Rossouw confirmed Kirsten suffered an AC joint injury in their 26-19 loss to the Sharks at Kings Park last weekend.

Utility back Dan Kriel was also been ruled out for the rest of the season after an operation for a shoulder injury sustained against the EP Kings a fortnight ago.

Meanwhile, props John-Roy Jenkinson and Neethling Fouché are back in training after recovering from a bicep injury and fractured hand respectively.

Lock Jason Jenkins is expected to be back in two weeks' time, but it remains unclear when centre Jade Stighling will return to action from his ankle knock.
