Jake White is interested in signing former Lions centre Harold Vorster for the Bulls from Japanese side Panasonic Wild Knights.
Vorster had been at the Lions from 2012 to 2019 and went on to play 60 Super Rugby games for the franchise before joining Panasonic in the Top League, where he was coached by former Crusaders and Wallabies boss Robbie Deans.
According to a report on Netwerk24, White is keen on bringing the 27-year-old back to South Africa to play his rugby at Loftus.
It is believed that the Lions are also interested to re-sign Vorster, but the hard-running centre is leaning towards joining the Bulls.
The Bulls currently have five out-and-out centres at their disposal and three further utilities who can play in midfield.
South African franchises have to adhere to a R60-million salary cap.
