The Vodacom Bulls have been handicapped by a delay in their trip to Wellington for their quarter-final against the Hurricanes on Saturday.
The Bulls only arrived in Wellington early on Wednesday (New Zealand time) with the match set to be played on Saturday evening.
While the original plan was for the Bulls to depart South Africa on Sunday, Sanzaar’s travel office only allowed them to fly over on Monday (SA time).
The end result is that Pote Human’s have been left with just a couple of days to acclimatise to conditions, with only one of those days to use for training before the captain’s run.
Human told SuperSport that the focus now is on ensuring every player is psychologically prepared for Saturday.
‘That’s the game, we can’t change anything about that, so we do make the best out of it and focus on ourselves,’ Human said.
‘That is what it is and we will have to get the guys ready psychologically for this one because it is going to be a huge battle out there but we will be ready.’
