Vodacom Bulls scrumhalf Rudy Paige will be fit to face the Chiefs on Friday after limping off the field in the defeat to the Blues.
Paige left the field midway through the second half at Eden Park with what looked like a recurrence of the knee injury that kept him out of action for a couple weeks. However, he got through Monday's training session unscathed after it was confirmed the injury was just a minor strain to his knee ligament.
Francois Hougaard, who moved to scrumhalf in Paige's absence, was also back in training on Monday despite suffering a quad contusion in his left leg during the defeat.
According to SuperSport.com, coach Frans Ludeke is considering resting Adriaan Strauss this week in accordance with Saru's player management agreement, with Callie Visagie starting at hooker for the must-win match in Rotorua.
