The Brumbies clinched a comprehensive 31-18 win over the Reds in a pre-season clash at Ballymore on Friday.
After suffering a narrow defeat to the Waratahs in their first warm-up game, the Brumbies picked a strong side for this clash, and never looked in any trouble against the Reds.
Stephen Moore, Ita Vaea and Tomas Cubelli all scored in the first half as the visitors opened up a 19-6 lead at the break.
Tevita Kuridrani and Robbie Abel then dotted down to extend the Brumbies’ try tally to five, although the Reds managed to respond with tries to Nick Frisby and Eto Nabuli.
The Brumbies will open their Super Rugby campaign against the Hurricanes on 26 February, while the Reds will kick off their season against the Waratahs the day after.
