Standout performances by Stephen Moore and Christian Leali'ifano laid the foundation for the Brumbies' 43-24 win against the Reds in Canberra, according to SARugbymag.co.za’s Opta-powered stats.
Following the Reds' surprisingly good start to a racy 10-0 lead, the Brumbies needed their senior members to step up and they did.
In the 49 minutes he was on the field, Moore scored a brace of tries and carried the ball 37m. He also made one clean break, an offload and three tackles without slipping any.
Leali'ifano was less prominent in defence with just one tackle, but scored 18 points via a try, five conversions and a penalty goal. In addition, he made two breakdown turnovers and 42 running metres.
