Cheetahs flank Heinrich Brüssow will not be extending his contract with the franchise beyond this year's Vodacom Super Rugby tournament.
According to Netwerk24, Brüssow has ruled himself out of Super Rugby for the next two seasons and will only be available for his Japanese club, the Docomo Red Hurricanes, in 2016 and 2017.
Brüssow joined the Red Hurricanes in 2013, but has returned to play Super Rugby for the Cheetahs every year since.
However, it seems as though Brüssow has played his last match for the franchise which he made his debut for back in 2005.
He is currently sidelined with a broken arm, which will keep him out for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, it's believed the Cheetahs have already signed a three-year deal with Shimlas flank Tienie Burger to serve as a replacement for Brüssow.
