Japan scored six tries to thrash Uruguay 40-0 in Saturday's World Cup warm-up match in Tokyo.
Brave Blossoms fullback Ayumu Goromaru scored one himself and kicked five conversions.
Uruguay were reduced to 14 men early on when scrumhalf Agustin Ormaechea was yellow-carded for an off-the-ball tackle, and Japan crossed the line twice while he was off.
The hosts led 21-0 at half-time, and went on to score another three tries in the second half.
