Bosch at flyhalf for Sharks

Curwin Bosch will shift to flyhalf in one of five changes to the Sharks starting XV to face Griquas in Kimberley on Saturday.

Bosch, who has played the entire tournament at fullback, gets an opportunity to control the game from the No 10 position, with Robert du Preez moving to inside centre and Marius Louw dropping to the bench as a result.

In another two changes to the backline, Springbok wing S’bu Nkosi starts in place of Kobus van Wyk, while exciting youngster Aphelele Fassi comes in at fullback.

There are two rotational changes to the pack as both Akker van der Merwe and Coenie Oosthuizen replace Chiliboy Ralepelle and Thomas du Toit respectively. Scrumhalf Louis Schreuder takes the captain’s armband from Ralepelle.

As expected, Jean-Luc du Preez makes his comeback from injury from the bench, while U19 lock JJ van der Mescht has also been named as a substitute.

Sharks – 15 Aphelele Fassi, 14 S’bu Nkosi, 13 Jeremy Ward, 12 Robert du Preez, 11 Lwazi Mvovo, 10 Curwin Bosch, 9 Louis Schreuder (c), 8 Dan du Preez, 7 Tyler Paul, 6 Jacques Vermeulen, 5 Hyron Andrews, 4 Gideon Koegelenberg, 3 Coenie Oosthuizen, 2 Akker van der Merwe, 1 Juan Schoeman.
Subs: 16 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 17 Thomas du Toit, 18 JJ van der Mescht, 19 Jean-Luc du Preez, 20 Grant Williams, 21 Marius Louw, 22 Kobus van Wyk.
