Brent Janse van Rensburg has been confirmed as the new coach of the Boland Cavaliers.

Janse van Rensburg resigned as EP Kings head coach on Wednesday, following ongoing non-payment of salaries at the beleaguered union. According to Sport24, Boland's media officer Jaco van Wyk confirmed that they were in discussions with Janse van Rensburg and that the deal will likely be completed later on Thursday.

The 35-year-old looks set to join the Boland from January 2016, ahead of their preparations for next year's Currie Cup.
