Springbok coaching consultant Felix Jones has been tipped to take up a new role at English Premiership side Gloucester.
Jones, who came in as a consultant and was lauded for his impact with the Springboks at last year’s World Cup, was set to continue in a new role as a European-based coaching consultant.
However, according to reports on Wednesday, he is apparently on Gloucester Rugby’s shortlist to become defence coach.
The English club is rebuilding following the departure or several players and coaches, which included former Lions head coach Johan Ackermann.
