The Springboks have confirmed that the team announcement scheduled for Tuesday afternoon has been postponed until further notice.
The team suspended their training programme for Monday and placed the squad in preventative isolation prior to further PCR testing and a review by the Medical Advisory Group (MAG).
This came after Lood de Jager retuned a positive outcome in scheduled testing and, because of his close contact with a number of squad members, the entire group has gone into isolation.
The entire team and management had PCR tests again on Tuesday morning, and will remain in isolation until the results and subsequent recommendations are received from MAG.
An update will be issued in due course, but the team for the second warm-up Test against Georgia – originally scheduled for 2:15pm – will not be taking place as planned.
Meanwhile, the Georgia team also cancelled their planned media briefings on Tuesday for unspecified reasons.
