The Springboks have moved up to third place in the World Rugby rankings following their 23-19 quarter-final victory over Walesat Twickenham.

The result earned South Africa a 2.06 ratings points increase, taking them above Ireland and Wales. 

Argentina, who eliminated Ireland courtesy of a 43-20 win in Cardiff, also rose two positions, from sixth to fourth, making it an all Rugby Championship top four, with the All Blacks and Wallabies at the summit of the table.

Wales and Ireland drop to fifth and sixth, while the rest of the top 10 remain unchanged.
