The Springboks have moved to third in the World Rugby rankings following their 18-10 win over Australia in Pretoria on Saturday.

Flyhalf Morné Steyn scored all 18 points via four penalties and two drop goals as the Springboks snapped a three-Test losing streak to maintain their 100% record against the Wallabies at Loftus.

The result earned the Boks 0.82 of a ratings point increase from 84.33 to 85.12, which is enough to elevate them back to third in the rankings at the expense of Australia, who drop to fourth on 84.71 points.

The All Blacks, meanwhile, maintain their lead at the top after their comfortable 36-17 triumph over Argentina, who in turn remain in seventh position after the loss.
