Former Springboks Piet van Zyl and Arno Botha have signed for English club London Irish.
Both players will be heading to England from the Bulls, with Van Zyl set to add to the scrumhalf options at London Irish, while Botha will bolster their back-row ranks.
‘I’ve heard a lot of good things about London Irish and I’m excited at the prospect of playing for the club in the [English] Premiership,’ said Van Zyl, who has three Bok caps to his name.
‘I wanted a fresh challenge and the opportunity to make the move to the northern hemisphere was too good to turn down.’
Botha has been capped twice by the Springboks, but had a career blighted by injuries.
‘I’m delighted to have the opportunity to join London Irish, a club that is steeped in history and tradition,’ he said.
