The Sunwolves have confirmed that Rudy Paige and JJ Engelbrecht are among six new players who have been added to their squad for the 2020 season.
In November, the Sunwolves named an initial 15-man squad, which included South African Garth April. And the Japanese franchise on Monday released a list of six additional players who signed on to play for them next year.
The 30-year-old Paige has 13 Springbok Test caps, but after he fell out of favour in the national set-up, he signed for French club Clermont.
Engelbrecht, who is the same age, also joined Clermont from the Stormers earlier this year. He has made 13 Test appearance for the Boks.
Vodacom Bulls tighthead prop Conraad van Vuuren has also signed for the Sunwolves, bringing the overall tally of South Africans to four.
