Western Province coach John Dobson has been forced to make three changes to his starting XV ahead of their crunch clash against the Golden Lions at Ellis Park on Saturday.
Centre Damian de Allende, flank Sikhumbuzo Notshe and tighthead prop Wilco Louw were called up to the Springbok squad for their tour of Australasia.
In response, Dobson has selected Dan Kriel as De Allende’s replacement and Michael Kumbirai as Louw’s.
Ernst van Rhyn moves from the second row to fill the void left by Notshe, with regular captain Chris van Zyl coming in to start at No 4 lock.
Prop Carlü Sadie, lock Salmaan Moerat, loose forward Chris Massyn and scrumhalf Paul de Wet are the new additions to the bench.
