Rieko Ioane will start at outside centre as one of five changes to the Blues’ starting lineup for Saturday’s match against the Stormers in Cape Town.
The Blues made a handful of changes from the side that narrowly beat the Vodacom Bulls 23-21 at Loftus last week.
In the back division, Rieko Ioane returns to the fold and will play No 13. His inclusion sees Joe Marchant shift to right wing at the expense of Emoni Narawa.
TJ Faiane comes in at inside centre for Harry Plummer and Sam Nock replaces Jonathan Ruru at scrumhalf.
Up front, flank Dalton Papalii comes into the back row in place of Tony Lamborn and Kurt Eklund is preferred at hooker ahead of James Parsons.
