Angelo Davids continued his excellent form to help the Blitzboks to a 24-12 win over France at the Sydney Sevens on Saturday.
After starring in the opening game against Argentina, Davids scored his second successive hat-trick to put the Blitzboks on the brink of qualifying for the playoffs.
JC Pretorius also got on to the scoreboard for the South Africans.
The Blitzboks currently top their pool, with a match against Samoa remaining to ensure that they go through to the quarter-finals. Kick-off is on Sunday at 2:51am (SA time).

Neil Powell’s men certainly seem to have learned the lessons from their poor performances last weekend in Hamilton and are in sublime form ahead of their final pool encounter.
While the Blitzboks were pushed all the way in this match, they kept their composure and other than a brief period in the first half, stayed ahead of their opponents.
