Centre Dylan Sage has been included in the Blue Bulls side to take on Western Province in the Currie Cup semi-final in Cape Town on Saturday.
In total, coach Pote Human has made three personnel changes from the team that lost to WP last week. There are also two positional shifts.
Sage comes into the lineup at outside centre, with Jonny Kotze moving to No 12. Franco Naude is relegated to the bench. Duncan Matthews replaces Jamba Ulengo on the right wing in the only other swap in the backline.
After their poor showing at scrum time against WP last week, Human has been forced to alter his front row. Dayan van der Westhuizen gets the nod at tighthead prop, while Trevor Nyakane switches to loosehead. Matthys Basson falls out of the match-day squad altogether.
