Lionel Beauxis will start at flyhalf as one of three changes to France’s run-on XV for their Six Nations clash against Scotland at Murrayfield on Sunday.
Beauxis, whose last Test match came six years ago, slots straight into a starting berth after he was called into the squad following an injury to Matthieu Jalibert last weekend.
Anthony Belleau, who missed a crucial penalty against Ireland, continues as the back-up flyhalf.
In other changes, Geoffrey Doumayrou replaces Henry Chavancy at inside centre, and Marco Tauleigne takes over from Kevin Gourdon at No 8.
The new additions to the bench are prop Ben Arous, No 8 Louis Picamoles and scrumhalf Serin Baptiste.
