Whitelock bolsters Bayonne

Bayonne have signed Crusaders utility back Adam Whitelock on a two-year deal.

Whitelock has been an integral part of Canterbury’s success in recent years, and represented the New Zealand Sevens side on two occasions.

Unlike his three brothers, who are forwards at Canterbury, Adam can play centre or wing.

Whitelock joins Bayonne after a succession of other signings, including Argentina back rower Benjamin Macome and Australian centre Lalakai Foketi.

Whitelock will be joining Bayonne immediately after the 2014 New Zealand Cup.
