Chean Roux has made four changes to the Junior Boks’ starting lineup for their friendly against Wales U20 in Cardiff on Tuesday.
Fullback Andrew Kota, scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba, flanker Evan Roos and prop Kudzwai Dube have all been promoted to the run-on XV.
Kota’s inclusion at No 15 sees Thaakir Abrahams move to the right wing in place of Marnus Potgieter, who shifts from the wider channel to outside centre. Jay Cee Nel is relegated to the bench.
Nohamba takes over from Jaden Hendrikse, who will provide scrumhalf cover off the bench.
Up front, Evan Roos comes in at openside flank ahead of Dylan Richardson, while Kudzwai Dube is preferred to Nkosikhona Masuku at loosehead prop.
Richardson and Celimpilo Gumede have both been named on an extended bench.
