The Barbarians are set to face Argentina at Twickenham in November 2015 as part of their 125th anniversary celebrations.
The match will be just the second meeting between the two, after the Barbarians, captained by Robert Jones, triumphed 34-22 in Cardiff in 1990.
It will also serve as a celebration of Los Pumas' 50th anniversary of their first tour to South Africa in 1965.
'Argentina have got a proud record to maintain and I am sure they will make a significant contribution at next year's World Cup,' said Barbarians president Micky Steele-Bodger following the announcement.
'We have strong links with rugby in Argentina. Many of their players have represented the club with distinction and playing the Pumas at Twickenham will be a splendid occasion.'
The Barbarians enjoyed a good year in 2014, beating a youthful England side 39-29 in June, before pushing the Wallabies all the way at Twickenham last month. They are also scheduled to play Ireland in Limerick on 28 May and England three days later, before closing out the year against Argentina.
