Veteran hooker Agustín Creevy has been ruled out of Argentina’s upcoming Rugby Championship Test against the Wallabies in Brisbane on Saturday.
The 34-year-old Creevy sustained a shoulder injury in Los Pumas’ agonising 20-16 defeat by the All Blacks at home in Buenos Aires last Saturday and will therefore not travel with the 30-man squad to Australia.
Backup hooker Julian Montoya is expected to replace Creevy in Argentina’s starting lineup for the game against the Wallabies, who went down 35-17 to the Springboks in their opening match of the tournament.
