Argentina hooker Agustin Creevy has returned from injury and will lead the side in the Rugby Championship finale in Salta on Saturday.
Creevy missed Argentina’s loss against the Wallabies in Perth after injuring his shoulder against the All Blacks.
His return is one of five changes to the side that went down in Australia.
Guido Petti and Tomás Lavanini have both been rested after accumulating plenty of minutes for the Jaguares and Los Pumas this year. Petti has dropped to the bench, while Lavanini has been left out of the match-day 23 entirely. Their places are taken by Matías Alemanno and Marcos Kremer respectively.
Javier Ortega Desio comes into the loose trio at flank in the only other change to the pack.
The only change to the backline is Emiliano Boffelli starting at fullback.
On the bench, Castres flyhalf Benjamín Urdapilleta could be set to make his first Test appearance in over six years, while scrumhalf Gonzalo Bertranou returns from a long-term injury he received during Super Rugby.
