Ruan Ackermann’s try helped Gloucester beat Wasps 27-14, while there were also Premiership wins for Saracens, Newcastle, Worcester, Northampton and Exeter.
Gloucester came from behind to seal an impressive victory that sees them occupy third position on the Premiership log.
Wasps took an 11-0 lead, thanks to a try from wing Marcus Watson and two penalties from Rob Miller.
However, Gloucester, unbeaten at home since September, hit back through a try from captain and scrumhalf Willi Heinz before Ackermann went over from close range for the hosts to take a 14-11 lead into the break.
Miller and Gloucester centre Billy Twelvetrees then exchanged penalties, but Gloucester sealed the win when Italy flank Jake Polledri came off the bench to power over in the corner in the final play of the game.
Meanwhile, the Exeter Chiefs stayed nine points clear at the top of the table with a three-try, 29-10 win against Bath. Saracens ensured that the deficit between first and second did not grow further with an important 27-20 comeback victory over Harlequins, inspired by Australian lock Will Skelton’s second-half double to go with a try from Schalk Burger.
At the opposite end of the table, the Worcester Warriors boosted their hopes of survival with a vital 27-25 away win against the Bristol Bears, while the Newcastle Falcons claimed an impressive 22-17 victory over the Sale Sharks.
In the round’s other result, Cobus Reinach crossed for a try to help the Northampton Saints win their East Midlands derby against the Leicester Tigers 29-15. The Tigers are now perilously close to the drop, just five points ahead of bottom-of-the table Newcastle.
