Further reports suggest Gloucester coach Johan Ackermann could be set to leave the English side and complete a move to Japanese club Docomo Red Hurricanes.
In addition to a report in Sunday newspaper Rapport, further information from the UK’s Daily Mail links Ackermann to an exit from Gloucester, where the former Lions coach has been plying his trade since 2017.
Some rumours suggest there have been whispers of discontent in the Gloucester camp, with the English club lying ninth in the Premiership, with just four wins from 13 games before competition was halted.
Although Ackermann signed a new contract to extend his tenure as Gloucester head coach last year, it appears he could now be set to accept an offer from the Docomo Red Hurricanes.
