All Blacks centre Ryan Crotty has been ruled out for four weeks with a fractured jaw bone.
The injury, suffered in the All Blacks' commanding 51-20 triumph over the Wallabies, is now likely to keep him out of matches against Argentina and South Africa.
The Crusaders back enjoyed an impressive outing at inside centre in place of Ma'a Nonu, who is also suffering with injury.
Coach Steve Hansen must now decide whether Malakai Fekitoa should get the starting inside centre berth if Nonu does not recover by 6 September.
Meanwhile, Cory Jane (knee), Beauden Barrett (ankle) and Aaron Cruden (pectoral) are all expected to be fit to take on the Pumas in Napier.
