The Kings have made nine changes to their starting lineup for Saturday's match against the Lions in Port Elizabeth.
Injuries to Sti Sithole and Edgar Marutlulle see Schalk Ferreira and Martin Ferreira start at loosehead prop and hooker respectively. Jacobie Adriaanse returns to tighthead, having recovered from a rib injury, in place of Tom Botha, who moves to the bench.
Steven Sykes has cleared his medical, following a light concussion sustained against the Bulls. He moves to No 5 lock, with Schalk Oelofse replacing JC Astle at No 4.
Thembelani Bholi has recovered from a knee injury and will start on the blindside flank ahead of Stefan Willemse, with CJ Velleman coming in for Aidon Davis at No 8.
Among the backs, Malcolm Jaer moves to fullback at the expense of Jürgen Visser, with JP du Plessis starting on the left wing.
Shane Gates is back from a foot injury to start at inside centre, which sees Stefan Watermeyer drop down to the bench.
