Edgar Marutlulle and Sti Sithole have been ruled out of the Kings' match against the Lions in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.
Kings coach Deon Davids confirmed the front rowers will be unavailable for selection after Marutlulle picked up a knee injury and Sithole an elbow knock against the Bulls a fortnight ago.
Captain Steven Sykes and his second-row partner JC Astle are also being monitored ahead of this weekend's match, with the pair said to be battling light concussions.
'Both are still being evaluated in line with the head injury protocols by our medical team,' said Davids.
In some good news, Davids confirmed his side has been boosted by the return of Thembelani Bholi and Shane Gates.
