The Brumbies ran in four second-half tries to record a convincing 41-23 victory over the Chiefs in Canberra on Friday.
Having led 13-6 at the break in a first half dominated by Steve Walsh's whistle, the Brumbies ran riot in the second 40.
It was the Chiefs, though, who struck first in the second half through a Gareth Anscombe penalty before the Brumbies responded with a five-pointer from Joe Tomane.
Tomane was then cynically tripped by James Lowe, who received a yellow card for his sins. The Brumbies capitalised on their man advantage, scoring 15 unanswered points while Lowe watched on from the bin.
Two late tries from the Chiefs added some respectability to the scoreline, before Matt Toomua dotted down after the hooter wrap to up an impressive victory that keeps up the pressure on the Sharks in the overall standings.
