Hosts Tygerberg clinched a commanding 25-10 victory over Noord-Kaap High on the third day of the Tony Stoops Festival.

Heading into the last of the 20-match programme, Tygerberg had already swept aside Sasolburg and Klein Nederburg, while Noord-Kaap went winless, losing to Wynberg and only managing a draw against Boishaai. And there was to be no turnaround in fortunes, as Tygerberg dominated the game from kick-off to record a well-deserved win over a team ranked 12 places above them on the schools rugby rankings and to end the tournament undefeated.

In other results, Dirkie Uys fell victim to Klein Nederburg 23-10, Milnerton beat Swartland 23-5, Jan van Riebeeck battled to beat New Orleans 12-10 and Piketberg blast to a 37-7 victory over Sasolburg.
