The Rebels have named a 28-man travelling squad for the pre-season match against the Reds in Cairns on Saturday.
Included in the squad are seven potential Rebels debutants; backs Cam Crawford, Mike Harris, Sefanaia Naivalu, Jonah Placid and Dom Shipperley, hooker Tom Sexton and second rower Steve Cummins.
The match will be a return to Queensland for Jonah Placid and Dom Shipperley, who both turned out for the Reds during their disappointing Vodacom Super Rugby season last year.
The Reds have yet to name their squad, but new signing James O'Connor as well as their two rugby league converts, Karmichael Hunt and Duncan Paia'aua, are expected to feature.
