With Ford starting, Owen Farrell moves to the bench, with a new-look backline including Bath sevens specialist Ruaridh McConnochie on the wing.
Up front, prop Dan Cole packs down in the front row with Joe Marler and Luke Cowan-Dickie, while Billy Vunipola has been named at No 8.
