The Waratahs confirmed that hooker Tolu Latu will face the Reds from the bench despite being caught in an alleged drunk-driving incident on Thursday.
Latu reportedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.135 after being found by police asleep behind the wheel of a car in Sydney at 4.30am.
The reserve hooker was only recently returned from a six-match suspension for dangerously charging into a ruck.
It is understood that the Waratahs were not immediately informed about Latu’s situation, but the news will come as a fresh blow to the club in the wake of the Israel Folau saga.
