Former Wasps, England and British & Irish Lions wing Christian Wade has signed for American football side, the Buffalo Bills.
The 27-year-old Englishman retired from rugby union in October last year to pursue a career in the NFL after he was repeatedly overlooked for national selection by England coach Eddie Jones.
The Bills confirmed on Monday that Wade will join their ranks through the international player pathway programme, allowing them to carry 91 players on their roster instead of the typical 90-player off-season roster.
Wade is the third-highest try-scorer in the history of the English Premiership, but played just one Test for England and one game for the British & Irish Lions.
