Glasgow Warriors wing Kyle Steyn has joined the Scotland squad ahead of their Six Nations clash against England in London on Saturday.
Steyn, who played for Maties in the Varsity Cup and Griquas before making the move to Glasgow, has linked up with the squad. They have have been hit with a few injuries following the loss to Wales last weekend.
All of Scotland’s first-choice back three, including Tommy Seymour, Blair Kinghorn and Stuart Hogg have been ruled out of the crucial Test.
Seymour and Kinghorn sustained rib and ankle injuries in Saturday’s defeat to Wales, while Hogg has yet to recover from a shoulder injury he suffered against Ireland in the second round.
As a result, coach Gregor Townsend has brought in the Glasgow pair of Ruaridh Jackson and Steyn.
